Notes

There is no legal right to enhanced overtime rates in the UK – only your contract sets the multiplier – but average pay across all hours worked must never fall below the minimum wage. Regular overtime should also be reflected in holiday pay. Overtime is taxed like normal pay; a big overtime month can also trigger student loan deductions.
