Holiday entitlement calculator
Statutory paid holiday is 5.6 weeks a year, capped at 28 days. Work it out for any working pattern, including starters part-way through the year.
Notes
The statutory minimum is 5.6 weeks – 28 days for a five-day week, and the cap means a six-day week still earns 28. There is no statutory right to bank holidays off; employers may count them within the 5.6 weeks. Part-year and irregular-hours workers can instead accrue at 12.07 percent of hours worked. Holiday pay should reflect normal pay including regular overtime and commission.
